Jason and I took Tuesday to run around together, and hit the beach and the pizza shop we visited on our last visit. The beach was very breezy and we were both wearing jeans and long sleeves. It seemed funny to be at a beach where no one was sunbathing. We left Palm Coast after some serious shopping on my part, loads of new work clothes from a place called Bells, Wednesday morning. We got the New Smyrna and I sat in the sunshine on the balcony and relaxed with a book.

It is wonderful at my Grandma's, very relaxing. Jason and I can even walk to the beach from the condo. New Smyrna is very different from the beaches my family vacations at each year. For one thing, people can drive their cars on the beach! This time, they could leave them while they laid out in front of them! It was very strange to me. We watched the ocean for a while, and the weather was much warmer. There were a ton of people in and out of the water, even after numerous reports of sharks and jellyfish! Give me the pool any day, if there is a danger of getting bitten or stung!

Thursday, we found we had to leave a day early. We tried to take my parents and Grandma to lunch, but were not allowed to pay for it. We ate a place called Pub 44. It was a huge bar that serves the bike week crowds well. Food was pretty good, and it would be fun to have a drink there, but nothing beats my Grandma's cooking.

Here are a couple of photos from lunch.
