Finally, the patio furniture has found it's way to the patio! I thought it might have made a permanent home in our kitchen because of the weather! We bought it the weekend of Easter because we were not able to spend it with our loved ones, due to a work schedule. I guess it was a good thing we waited to buy it after that bit of a cold spurt! My beautiful tree, no longer looks nearly as pretty. All the pink buds have died and fallen off during one of the many wind storms. My roses, which were growing back, look like they have faced winter again. At least we have pictures to remember it by!

A few tough tulips have survived! And nothing can stop the grass from growing, can it? Jason had the pleasure of buying a mower a couple of weeks ago. He had fertilized the lawn during that warm part of March, and it just keeps growing! We even got a weed whip for cleaning up the edges of the lawn!

Along with warmer weather, we have been working on ideas to redo parts of our house! I have plans to repaint and finish the master bed room in a calming tea green. (of course a home depot color a Friend has in her home) We have also bought a ceiling fan/overhead light to help move air when the weather turns warm.

For the upstairs bathroom, Jason and I have chosen a new vanity (not purchased yet) sink, and tiles. We will replace the overhead fan with a light fan combo. The tile has already been bought to replace the floors with! We have already bought new sliding glass doors for the kitchen with a hope that it will help cut down energy costs next winter. (That will be a big job, seeings as their are two!)

Hopefully, we will get some time to work on these renovations so we can show them off this summer!
